“Trinkle, Tinkle,” recorded by Jack Higgins at Reeves Sound Studios in New York City in July of 1957, features Wilbur Ware on bass and “Shadow” Wilson on drums. The single is part of the “Another Side of John Coltrane” compilation which explores his early career as a respected sideman who rose to fame playing alongside some of the greatest names in jazz, and spotlights some of his best work in sessions led by Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Red Garland, Tadd Dameron and Art Taylor.
