This week we are back at it working on the 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ and continuing on the rust repair. Today I will cutting out the old rusty rocker panels and replacing them with 2x6" tube steel. This rocker panel will take the place of the old rocker and also be strong enough to act as a rock slider. In this series I will show you how to do the whole job from start to finish. Today we will be continuing on the passenger side with the rocker panel. This process is very similar to the Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ 3x6" rocker panel replacement.
