Human rights activist and transsexual Miranda Yardley agrees with calls for a probe into the "pervasive influence" of transgender ideology in UK schools and the country’s National Health Service.

Over 130 UK MPs, peers, doctors and psychiatrists have written to the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak demanding a public inquiry into transgender ideology in the NHS and schools.

“This ideology has taken grip of public institutions … has infiltrated itself into schools and public places, and has led our institutions, and our public figures, to frankly embarrass themselves," Ms Yardley told Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi.

“I’m glad the inquiry is being called.

“What I would always question here is why it has taken so many people, so long. to put their head up, do the right thing, and say this is unfair.”
