I made this one years ago before Tommy sent the Dawn Wall. I spent a few days on the wall with him and Jonathan Siegrist to make this. It was really cool listening to his parents talk about him as a kid and the experiences he had as a child.
When Tommy Caldwell’s dad took him up the Twin Owls to fly his kite at age three, a lifelong obsession was born. In the ensuing decades, Caldwell’s attitude, hard work and determination – even through harrowing circumstances – have helped him become one of the world’s greatest rock climbers.
