I introduce today’s video with a compilation of various social media (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube) influencers and celebrities who have made videos about or are known for their extravagant, materialistic lifestyles. For reference, some of the influencers I include in my video are Jeffree Star, Addison Rae, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Trisha Paytas, James Charles, and Nikita Dragun. I’ll admit, I find many of these videos to be extremely entertaining, though I don’t personally participate in these insane amounts of materialistic consumption. Following my reflection on materialistic influencer lifestyles, I show a brief tour of everything I own in my bedroom as a minimalist. I also share this room with my boyfriend, Kane, so you’re able to see what a minimalist room looks like with two people living in it.
