📚Description: Verticle finish checking is usually a result of compressed air or humidity damage. Most "normal" finish checking runs horizontally if done by temperature or age. This unique Murphy Lab Gibson has a very unique aging job. I don't like it at all as an aged guitar, but as a hieroglyphic art piece, it is kind of cool! To be fair... someone might've specifically asked for this "water damaged" aging style. Certainly a unique gold top
