Well it looks like we’ve finally came to the final incredibyte!
I must say, these mods were all fantastic.
To be honest with you, I usually don’t care for mods that are based off of real songs.
Mostly because well… They don’t really do anything special.
For scratch mods based off of songs, most of the time a lot of the sounds are just ripped straight from the song thanks to AI.
Meaning that well… a lot of sounds are either just playing once every loop or just bland and unoriginal.
I feel like overbyte is one of the few people that well… know how to make a scratch mod based off of a real song?
Which is why I have a great deal of respect for the guy, who wouldn’t?

To be honest with you choosing subnautica to be the theme was a pretty interesting choice.
Mostly because the previous two were based off of well… songs from pixelated games, right.
Tetris and zelda 2 (the old one) are both a whole kilometre away from subnautica in terms of theme.
But who can blame him, it’s a fantastic soundtrack nonetheless.
Which is why I’m not too bothered by it, after all, hell, it’s based off of five different subnautica songs, combined into one!
So it keeps it fresh, while still feeling like subnautica.
Anyway… how about these designs?
To be honest with you I enjoy the designs quite a bit, The colours are well… unique, I’ll say that.
I don’t really think about orange or pink when I think of the ocean, but that’s just me.
Then again… there’s only so many sea-related polos to make, you’ll have to go off-beat eventually if you have twenty polos to make.
The animation is solid too, not too slow, and not too fast.
It’s very very smooth though, so it slightly differentiates from the vanilla incredibox animation, in turn.
How about how it sounds?
Well… it’s just subnautica, except it feels more like a remix than just song fodder, this time.
As I said, it’s based off of five subnautica songs, not just one.
So it actually feels very original, in turn, which I can definitely appreciate.
When mixing with this, you are gonna be pretty cozy, all in all.
You have two kicks technically, two bass, and plenty of usable melodies at your disposal.
This is one of those rare cases where you could probably just start a mix however you want to.
Considering that well… no sound in this mod is bad, right.
Use whatever you want to, a kick, a windup…
Maybe even a bass, if you wanna dig straight in, and you’ll have a good time mixing with this.
Gotta say, this is a rare 10/10, from me.
Everything about it is pretty good, even the less good sounds are very much usable even if you don’t know what you are doing, it’s fun to play around with, and all in all?
It’s just a fantastic conclusion to incredibyte as a whole.
