Description: Selena Gomez made her first red carpet appearance in 2022 on Sunday at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in California but things didn’t go exactly as planned. The actress looked beautiful in a black velvet dress and a diamond Bulgari necklace with more than 200 carats of diamonds thought to cost around $1 million dollar but one thing wasn’t right, the shoes.

Gomez found herself taking a tumble as she walked halfway down the red carpet after her heel broke which left her with no choice but to ditch her footwear and go barefoot. She even went on to stage to present the award for Outstanding Female Actress in a Supporting Role alongside Martin Short.

Taking to Twitter fans commented on how the it was a selena thing to do.

Selena did look flawless at the ceremony as she presented the award. She may have ditched the heels but looked as glamorous as ever and we have to admit, she is probably one of the few celebs to have done that.
