In a surprise move, the attorneys for double murder suspect Richard Allen have stepped down. The announcement came as a status hearing was about to get underway. Allen is accused of killing teen girls Abby Williams and Libby German in Delphi, Indiana.

The judge scheduled another hearing October 31 with the hopes Allen will have new attorneys by then.
