This day is very special to me. 5 years ago I broke down and asked myself if investing in real estate was worth it.

I was in a Lowes parking lot in Allen Park MI and it was cold, raining and I was soaking wet.

I was exhausted physically and mentally and I had had enough. We personally owned 11 units at that time and had W2 jobs.

I put an alarm in my calendar to go off on this day 12/17 every year so I could ask myself “Is investing in real estate worth it?”

I knew back then that if I stuck with it my future self would get that alarm and read that note and be better off than I was at that moment in time and he could hopefully answer “Yes, it’s worth it.”

I thank God for the past version of myself who stuck it out on that cold rainy night and didn't quit so that 5 years later, today I can answer “Yes, investing in real estate is worth it.”

No matter what you go through or how tough it gets .... Don't. Ever. Quit.
