We’re starting off the tour with the LIVING ROOM! How insane is that transformation?! A lot of times in college, you have to keep the furniture that the dorm room comes with. It wasn’t ugly, but it just didn’t fit what we envisioned, either! When you don’t have the option to pick out your own furniture, you really have to get creative! Who would know that by adding a bit of cheap contact paper to old furniture would totally upcycle it! We also draped a few blankets here, added pillows there, placed a cute couch cover there, a few stools here, and more succulents!

You can’t paint dorm room walls, nor can you put nail holes in them. So to change up the color of the walls in the living room, we used more contact paper (It’s like wallpaper, but much easier to use! Like a big sticker that sticks to the wall, and peels off at the end of the year without taking any paint off!) We were totally skeptical about how it would look on the entire wall, but we LOVE it! It really made such a huge difference! We keep saying that we’re never gonna want to leave our living room, even for class! 😂 It’s just so cozy and comfortable!

The biggest challenge when putting together a BATHROOM is figuring out storage and organization. How do you think we did? More contact paper, 2 small storage cabinets, a 3-shelf cart, cute shower curtain, and few decorations REALLY made a difference!

Now, the room you’ve all been waiting for… OUR BEDROOM! We already mentioned how much we LOVE our Beddy’s beds (link above)! We also up a picture of our family since we won’t be seeing them everyday now! 😭! We pared down our closet to only the vitals, added decorative contact paper to our desks and dressers, and found new ways to use minimal dorm space and make it all look cute! 😍 We also added a mini fridge for food and a safe to store our expensive camera equipment.
