Kim Kardashian’s former assistant just threw some serious shade and there’s so much drama it could be its own Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode.

It looks like the Kardashian clan isn’t as close as they used to be.

Even if you’re NOT a fan of the Kardashian’s, you know who Stephanie Shep is. She rose through the ranks of Kris Jenner’s company and became Kim Kardashian’s personal assistant. From booking flights to pushing away creepy paparazzi, Stephanie has been an integral part of the Kardashian Empire.

Stephanie was not only an assistant, but she was actually best friends with the KarJenners. She was out at a club with Kourtney Kardashian when Kim’s Paris robbery happened and she often posted pics with the whole fam proving that her job was more than just a job.

During this season of Keeping Up, we’ve seen Steph take more charge and ask Kim for more responsibility. When Kourtney brought up the fact that Steph didn’t feel fulfilled, Kim got mad that Stephanie wasn’t coming to her with these concerns.

This kind of confrontation was unusual between the pair and we were shocked when we found out that Kim fired Steph as her assistant. An insider source told PEOPLE QUOTE “She was a good assistant but when Stephanie wanted to transition into a larger role with Kim’s brand and businesses, it just didn’t work. Kim gave her the chance but after a short period of time it became clear that Stephanie just didn’t have the knowledge to take on a role like that. Kim made an executive decision to part ways.”

It’s been rumored that the two are still friends, but after Steph’s recent Instagram story fans aren’t so sure. In her story, Stephanie wrote about how self care isn’t always about expensive face masks and bath bombs, but sometimes it means QUOTE “letting go of a bad friend” or QUOTE “forgiving yourself for not meeting your impossible standards.”

Fans couldn’t help but notice the similarities between her recent firing and post, especially when it comes to friendship and standards.
