Adobe just released Generative Expand in Photoshop Beta, which complements the Generative Fill AI tool introduced a few months ago. Generative Expand makes it easier to expand your images without having to select around the image as was previously necessary. This technology is fantastic, and I'm going to show you several ways to use it in this tutorial. (Business cards, Social Media, Website, Thumbnails, Promotions, Wall Art, Photographs, Cards, etc.) We will create four different demo projects using this AI tool to extend backgrounds in seconds.

This is available in the Photoshop Beta app in the Creative Cloud installer. Make sure to update to the latest Photoshop Beta version to be able to access this feature.

I'll also show you how you can use this tool in combination with the original Generative Fill tool and how these two AI features powered by Adobe Firefly compare.
