We love to make homemade masala chai and make a peaceful routine out of the grinding and brewing process. Masala chai recipes vary, but this is what we enjoy adding to ours. Thank you for watching!
Ingredients for Our Masala Chai (2 servings):
- 20 whole Cardamom
- 30 whole Black Pepper
- 1 whole Star Anise
- 2 teaspoons Ginger Powder (or 2 inch fresh Ginger)
- 2-4 whole Cloves
- 1 whole Cinnamon
- 1-2 teaspoons of Darjeeling Tea (or Black Tea)
- 2 cups of Water
- 2 cups of Milk (or Plant-Based Milk)
- Sweetener (optional)
