The BYD B12A03 was first introduced in 2022, originally showcased at SITCE 2022.It featured the Blade Battery,the first Electric Bus to ever use it.

In 2022, Comfort Delgro Bus ordered a few BYD B12A03 Buses to operate on their NUS and NTU routes,with NUS featuring their Blue - Orange Livery[similar to the Zhongtong N12] & a one off NUS ISB Blue livery and NTU featuring their Wrap(Red-Blue).Both versions features the Same EDS and the same number of Doors(3 Doors) and also has 2 Wheelchair spaces(with an additional Standing space).

Usually,these buses are deployed on NUS ISB and NTU ISB Based routes,but when Comfort Delgro Bus operated Mandai Khatib Shuttle up till early 2024,these buses were deployed there on weekends.


In Late 2023,LTA also ordered 1 Demonstrator unit.

Originally was shown in SITCE 2022, with the similar EDS too the private units and was already in LTA Spec.

The Same unit then became SG 4013A,another Electric Demo into LTA's list of demos.

SG 4013A however,has a few changes like,EDS switched into GORBA EDS(the big version),PIDS switched into the LTA'S version and had extra seats at that one standing space which the private units have.It also features a very unique Lush Green Livery too,same like the other Demos.It's livery features a symatrical Black livery with the usual Sliver lining, forming a very, stylish look to the buses.

SG 4013A is only running in SEDEP and operated by SBS Transit.

Mainly on 265 as part of it's trail (while the 138 is just a one off).

And honestly, it's surprising that it is able to last a whole day aswell(unlike 4005Z with the constant charging)
