There has been a lot of bad writing in season 8 of Game of Thrones. While Danny's turn to insanity in "The Bells" was shocking, this turn to insanity had been foreshadowed for a very long time. Considering Danny's bloodline, and her initial response when she is angry, I've thought she would go crazy for quite a while. I think the main issue with her insanity was the rushed feeling of this whole season, and her rushed turn to going crazy.
