This simple pineapple pudding cake is probably what you need to add to your desert menu for Sunday dinner, potlucks and any time of the year really!

Ingredients used

For the cake

* 1 pk Duncan Hines pineapple supreme cake mix
* 3.4 oz Instant Vanilla Pudding mix
* 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted unsalted butter 
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 4 large eggs
* 1 tsp pineapple extract
* 1 tsp vanilla extract 


For the pudding mixture

* 1 1/2 cups whole milk (cold)
* 1 pack (3.4oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
* 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese
* 1/2 cup powdered sugar
* 1 tub (8 oz) cool whip

Toppings

* 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple (drained)
* maraschino cherries (drained)
