All Titans come standard with the 5.6L 32 valve DOHC VK56DE engine which produces over 300 horsepower and 385 lb ft of torque. The 5 speed Jatco 5R05 transmission (RE505A) produces progressive shifts that deliver power to the Dana 44 rear axle. There are two cab configurations available, a King Cab with 180 degree opening rear doors and a full crew cab.

The Titan received a mild facelift in 2008, with slightly revised interior and exterior.
