welcome back to monster hunter ltd., where there have been... some developments. i'm sure it's fine.

anyway, once you're back up and running, this level carries on after the next day after the first one, and takes you across the river to the source of the disturbance. some locations, such as your office and apartment, are revisted, although they've seen better days. the combat is also trickier right out of the gate. there's a lot less room available in general at the start and it takes a bit longer than you'd probably like to get fully armed. getting the plasma rifle from the office is also important - and needed for uv-max, as despite not being a secret it spawns a handful of enemies. there's also a weird silent teleporter that takes you to a random corner of the map... that's mostly just confusing.

after making it across the river you need to grab the blue key from the warehouse. this is kind of more obnoxious than it has to be, because the lifts lower when enemies walk over certain linedefs, but stop when they die, and can't be lowered by hand. you need to jump from the next building over, which... why? the lifts clearly work. the finale is kind of a banger though - there's a tornado, somehow, and a warehouse that gradually collapses to reveal additional enemies, and eventually, the root of the problem itself.
