We look at a Z71 Chevrolet Suburban overland budget build. Is the Chevrolet Suburban good as an overland option, is the question we try to answer. With minor upgrades like Moog Springs, 33" Toyo tires, Bilstein Shocks, some basic lighting, high lift jack, basic recovery gear and more, we've found it to be very adequate. The owner, Josh Emery, has a family he likes to take for short trips to the lake, to the mountains and for general overlanding trips. In this video we go off road in the surrounding areas of Las Vegas, NV; places like Burro Wash, near the Hoover Dam and LaMadre Mountain.

Don't miss the next video after this one. We take on the LaMadre mountains in a sketchy downhill descent! See it here!
