While Sonic Prime is an overall simple and cute show, it is not beyond some (minor) criticisms.
I didn't particularly care for the Egg Council or the bland characterizations of a few of the characters, but those are all so banal complaints.
The real issue I have lies less in what is in your face but rather what is lacking in the background.
