4 small wheels & a steering stick can provide decent off-road performance including good climbing ability, contrary to popular opinion AND Nintendo's own in-game statement stating the contrary!

With this you have an energy-efficient, part-efficient simple car with no need for advanced techniques, glitchy parts or much skill to make!

The main thing to watch out for is levelness when building. It's very easy to attach the front wheel in a non-level position to the rear ones. I tried that and performance seemed to take a dip so I suggest making sure they're level.

The wheel is on the front for better weight balance. I tried the configuration in reverse and didn't like the result much. I did also try with wheels tipped in various ways and got worse results with those as well in terms of the tests in this video.
