Today I want to have a discussion about the Benro Polaris automated star tracker. I've been testing this device for quite a while now and in this video I'll compare it to other star trackers that I use.
My main reason for considering the Polaris is for automated milky way panoramas . .and it does that quite well. We'll also take a trip out on site during an actual nightscape shoot to see how the device handles.
Then I'll sum up my reasons for choosing or perhaps not choosing the Polaris.
