Greg demonstrates how to install a pressure regulator in an existing copper water line using no-solder Sharkbite™ fittings.
Included are demonstrations on inserting brass fittings into the regulator, use of a cutting tool, pipe thread tape, de-burring tool, and adjusting the regulator to the desired pressure.

High water pressure is a leading cause of plumbing damage and leaks that result in property damage.

This project may be considered a somewhat advanced project for the Do-It-Yourselfer but it gives a clear idea of what is involved and will allow you to determine if you want to try it yourself.

We don't recommend starting a DIY project on a day and time when the supply stores are closing or professional help may be difficult or more expensive to acquire (e.g., holiday weekends).

Goodies exist beyond the credits.
