Recorded on May 25, 1979 for Capitol records, this performance was a part of a promo-series created to promote the company's hottest acts of that year. Titled Capitol Records Revised Soul, the VHS cassette included such acts as Natalie Cole, Taste of Honey, and Tavares. I bought the tape from a former Capitol Records executive's estate sale back in 2002, and I consider it to be one of my most treasured Minnie memorabilia pieces. Over the years I have contributed greatly to various channels devoted to Minnie Riperton, but I have decided it is now time to host my own channel.
