Tent camping on this trip to Andrew Molera State Park in Big Sur, CA.

The campground is located just of Pacific Coast Highway 1. The campsites require campers to hike about 1/4 mile from the parking area into the campground. You also have to go down some stairs so this is not a disabled friendly campground. The campground is separated from the rest of the day use area, so this makes for a relatively quiet campground because you don't have people and kids running around.

There are 24 spacious sites spreadout over a large open meadow with lots of shade trees. Almost all sites have some shade except for just a couple.
