Although the Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro is largely more capable… I think there’s a lot to be said about the simplistic Toyota 4Runner SR5.

There’s a lot more bells and whistles on the TRD Pro… buuuut it’s also $11-13K more. That’s a lot of money for aftermarket off road goodies… the SR5 is a blank canvas so-to-speak. It shares the MOST important aspects as the Pro: 4.0L V6, bulletproof 5 speed auto transmission, built in Japan, body on frame design. 👌

What are your thoughts? Would you consider getting an SR5 over a TRD Pro?
