Master your Drop Voicing chords with these modern arpeggio shapes & patterns!

Drop Voicings on the #guitar are an essential chordal system. They provide a huge amount of discovery for your chord shapes which will develop your harmonic visualisation and fretboard knowledge.

I started playing around with using both a Drop 2 and Drop 3 voicing in the form of single note lines by arpeggiating them. It quickly occurred to me that this sounded very musical within the context of a phrase and that It was also a great way to learn these Drop #chords on the guitar.

In this video I discuss a single note pattern using Drop 2, Drop 3, and Close Voiced #arpeggios to help you master these chord shapes on the guitar. These arpeggio patterns are fun to practice as they sound great to use within your solos when improvising. This exercise has many benefits if practiced in the right way!
