This is part 3 of the Bronx flight series. This one is a little different in that I also included pictures from many of the ground trips to Bronx Park and the Botanical Gardens doing research for my book Lost Boys of the Bronx. This video will include clips of "The Balcony", Twin Lakes (aka the Duck Pond aka "the Ducky"), and the Ducky Tunnels where Ducky Boy graffiti from the 60s still adorns it's walls. Also a few clips relating to Ducky stories in the book like "The Great Train Robbery"

Back in 2009, when the book "Lost Boys of the Bronx: The Oral History of the Ducky Boys" was still a documentary film, author James Hannon and his wife Jackie chartered a private plane with friend John De Groot to fly over the Bronx for location footage and photos.

Later the film became the book, and the videos and photos were tucked away for 10+ years. Recently they were found again, and we decided to release this amazing aerial footage on YouTube.

Part 1 was approaching the Bronx over the George Washington Bridge... Part 2 was flying over the Fordham Road, Bedford Park, Kingsbridge Road, Norwood area. And Part 4 will show both the new and old Yankee Stadiums that were standing in 2009.
