I felt compelled to leave a honest review about this care home due to their underhanded tactics in both circumnavigating Google reviews by leaving biased untrue ones and for discrediting my honest review which I felt was a slap in the face to my mother. It is because of her poor treatment that I do this in her honour. Had Woodleigh not tried to discredit my honest google review I would have left it at that, they have only made it worse for themselves.

If you have a relative that doesn’t need round the clock care then fine, but if your relative needs care this is not the place for them to be and there are wayyyyyyy better care homes in the area. I just WISH I had this knowledge available to me before I agreed to let my mother go here. I thought with it having Christian in the title that surely this would be a good place, how wrong was I.

The staff are back to front in this place. The best staff member was a housekeeping lady in a purple uniform. She couldn’t do enough to help you whereas the manager did zero to help you, in fact she went out of her way to cover things up and not follow complaints up. Swap these two members of staff around and I am sure that in itself would net a positive change.

If you love your relative, give this place a wide birth. You have been warned!
