A step by step using two different methods I use to make full depth epoxy resin bow ties. This is a really unique way to prevent further splitting in wood and add a colourful flair. It's also a great project for the left over epoxy to keep it from going to waste. The colours can always be made different and using this method different shapes besides bow ties could be used.

I use a template kit as well as a Shapeoko cnc machine to show a method available to everyone. You could also cut them by hand using a scroll saw or jigsaw and chisels.
