I haven't had a learning curve like The Lightblade since my first time in Proving Grounds. Which is kind of funny to me, since it's mostly the time to kill from the barrier champions that makes that Nightfall difficult, while the barrier champions here are the polar opposite. You could probably make Arbalest work if your secondary weapon isn't for unstoppables, but your options are limited for something with both unlimited range and decent add clear. Maybe an auto or smg with incandescent and a high-impact frame arc machine gun.
