In this video, I get to address some of the most common assumptions people have about wheelchair users, or people in wheelchairs, generally.
This is a follow-up assumption tag video to the one I did a couple of weeks ago where I talked about the most common disability assumptions and misconceptions, tackling disability stereotypes, myths, and separating facts from fiction.
As someone who has been a quadriplegic, due to a spinal cord injury, I've had my fair share of experiences that have brought to surface many assumptions people have about me, as a wheelchair user. Watch me as I share some of them.
