This video begins along I-278, the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, at night right after the Brooklyn-Battery/Hugh L. Carey Tunnel exit and concludes just before the Kosciuszko Bridge in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The BQE, as it's locally referred to as, is one of NYC's most infamous highways. It suffers from chronic congestion and mid-20th century designs that are now antiquated and no longer meet the needs for the city's residents. However, it is a highway full of history, and one that you will only find in New York. Along the way, you'll see portions of the Manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the dense urban neighborhoods that the BQE snakes through.
