I did this mod to my F3 because I got pissed off at how long it takes to remove the seat from these bikes. I also have plans for adding a storage compartment in this space.

The other Very Good Thing that came of this is the ability to get to the battery without tools to jump it or whatnot. Note at the end of the video that I taped a 5mm hex wrench to battery box.
