Here's a reading of my short story The Albatross Part I from my collection The Albatross and Other Tales.

On 1/10/20, I did a reading to premier this collection at Quiet City Books in Lewiston, Maine. There was a pretty good turnout, but I did have some people express that they were sorry they couldn't make it. So, with that in mind, I decided to record myself reading from the book the excerpts I read at the event. This is the first story of the collection, The Albatross Part I. Bear in mind, I am not a professional voice over person, I'm just doing this for fun, so I'm definitely not up to par with the audiobooks you may have listened to in the past.

This first one is a story I started over 20 years ago. I wrote this while riding the public transit system in Atlanta (MARTA) to go to classes at Georgia State University. The main character is very much based on my personal experiences. The Albatross story has been sitting unfinished in a lonely file for two decades, and now is the book end story for my anthology. I hope you enjoy.

Depending on how this video does, I may do these for more of my stories.
