"Confidence, I've learned, definitely grows over time," Olivia Cooke tells us in the latest episode of our Life Lessons series. "As I've gotten older, I've felt more and more confident – so if you're in your early twenties, just wait, because it's coming round the corner."

The actress has good reason to have gained more self-assuredness, having co-starred in one of the biggest TV shows of 2022. The inaugural series of House of the Dragon, the HBO Game of Thrones spin-off set 200 years previously, premiered in August and reportedly averaged 29 million viewers an episode across the first five instalments.
