I review the 2023 Nissan Z Performance with a manual transmission. The 2023 Z is a lot of fun with a strong engine, lively handling and the engagement of an available manual transmission. But depending on what you're looking for, the pricing might be a letdown. If you don't need all the Performance hardware, the $39,990 price for the Sport trim will be a great deal. But if you do want all the Performance hardware for a well-rounded car out-of-the-box, it'll run you a much steeper $49,990 (plus $1,025 for destination), even more if you want the automatic. At 51k, the Z essentially loses its pricing edge to the Supra and will require a buyer that's still willing to pay Supra money but prefers the softer setup of the Z or it's all-Nissan engineering. Overall, it's great to have another sports car competitor in this space and also great to see the Nissan Z live on. What do you think about the 2023 Nissan Z? Huge thanks to Nissan for providing me with this opportunity!
