The video has 3 major parts:
The first one is about more preparations before paint, and also includes a rotten column handling with quick square and circular saw, at some point had to use a bar clamp since the circular saw became too heavy.
Then I remove the bushes around the house to have access to the front area column and overall, the idea of growing roots into the house structure is a bad recipe. I also cover holes with plastic wood and loosen cedar siding pieces with siding nailer ( I as well explain why finish nailer is too rough for this job ).
The second part is about paint, and various brushes and roller usage.
I used a Behr coffee semi transparent stain for the siding.
The third part is about silicon ( I used DAP ), window weatherproof ( I used Pela tape ) and final touches such as installing the house number and painting the silicon.
