This peach cobbler pound cake offers the perfect balance of sweetness from the sugars and tartness from the peaches! The addition of spices adds that umami earthy favors that we so love, especially during the coming fall and winter months.

Ingredients used

For the Cake:
3 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
5 Large Eggs
3 sticks Unsalted Butter
8 oz Cream Cheese
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp lemon extract
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 cup peach juice

For the Topping:

15oz can sliced peaches drained
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup (4 Tbsp or 1/2 stick) Melted Butter
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon

For the Glaze:
1 cup Confectioners Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tbsp peach juice (drained from the can)
1 Tbsp milk
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar to sprinkle on cake

Extra sliced peaches for garnishing
