The reasons:
Most of these Outlook errors occur due to various reasons such as incorrect account settings, oversized Outlook data files, MS Outlook internal application conflict, Windows firewall issues, incorrect Office installation, invalid User Id or password, virus threats, wrong port number for the outgoing (POP/IMAP) server, etc.
One of the most common and frustrating Outlook error is when you are unable to add a new email account into Outlook. To solve this issue simply follow the below guide.

The alternative solution to Less secure app access is as below

1. Once you see the error, don’t close outlook just leave the page
2. Sign in with the Google Account on a browser
3. On the left, click on the Security
4. Under "Signing in to Google," select App Passwords. You may need to sign in. If you don’t have this option, it might be because:
a. 2-Step Verification is not set up for your account.
b. 2-Step Verification is only set up for security keys.
c. Your account is through work, school, or other organization.
d. You turned on Advanced Protection.
5. At the bottom, choose Select app and choose the app you are using. Select device and choose the device you’re using. Generate.
6. Follow the instructions to enter the App Password. The App Password is the 16-character code in the yellow bar on your device.
7. Copy the password and paste to your Outlook email configuration
8. You are done!

Tip: Most of the time, you’ll only have to enter an App Password once per app or device, so don’t worry about memorizing it.
