Following forecasters' prior indication that there may be a probability of snowfall in London, fresh snow and ice warnings have been issued for the United Kingdom today.

As temperatures drop below zero, an Arctic chill is expected to bring further "hazardous" snow and ice to large areas of Northern and Southern England as well as Scotland by at least Friday.

The Met Office has issued and extended yellow warnings today, affecting the entire eastern coastline as far south as Cornwall and extending from the top of the nation. Tomorrow, they will be in the South from 3 a.m. until 4 p.m.
