I decided to be a little ambitious with my Lost PLA Casting this week - I've cast a small gearbox. I designed a set of planetary gears and printed these on an ordinary 3D printer. I then cast these into stackable aluminium gearboxes. Each box has a ration of 4:1 and accumulates by a factor of four with each additional box.
