Can you believe that at some point in our history there were crazy laws against inter-racial marriages? That our schools were segregated between white and black people? That it was illegal for women to vote? We’re not making this up. Our history is full of crazy laws such as the Indian removal act of 1830 or state laws against homosexual acts between consenting adults. The good news is that these 25 crazy laws are no more. It’s sad to think however that at one point in our history, they existed.
