INFORMATION CORRECTION:

NieR Reincarnation is the 3rd game "released" in the NieR series, but not the 3rd game chronologically.

"Rein is a Sequel to Automata the same way Automata was a sequel to OG" was based on incorrect information that was circulating at the time that has since been updated.

"Takes place in the same universe..." Definitely takes place in the Yokoverse, but as to this day it's still completely unknown where and how the game takes place.

NieR Reincarnation (or Re[in]carnation if you want it all to be on point) is the latest game in the NieR series, and unlike it's action RPG siblings, its a smartphone gatcha game.
