The Apple Watch Series 8 was supposed to be a bigger upgrade this year with many people upset last year that the Apple Watch series 7 not receiving a major redesign or any internal chip upgrades with the S7 chip having the same exact power as the S6 chip. Well, it looks like this year, Apple may have a huge problem on their hands with rumors now swirling for the Apple Watch Series 8 saying it will have the same power as the Apple Watch series 6... meaning that the Apple Watch will not have received a performance jump in the last two years. And with a lack of new features, processor changes, and perhaps another year with no design changes, we may be set up for disappointment with this next Apple Watch model.
