This is part 2 on piping a dedicated domestic hot water loop when you're not using a Rinnai RUR series unit.
Again, we are using Rinnai's Dedicated return valve #107000450
With using Rinna's RU series unit and not the RUR series unit you will need a separate pump and controller to operate the flow of water back to the system.
The pump or pumps you can use is the

Check valves SPRING LOADED ONLY I prefer SharkBite, or you can use Conbraco or Apollo 3/4" IPS
If you don't want to use the dedicated return valve kit you can still use a tee fitting and a second check valve.
