Over 250 students from around Ireland came together to celebrate this special event at the Light House Cinema showcasing 38 films.

We were delighted to announce the 5 Awards to the following films as part of the First Frame Initiative:

Fiction Film Honourable Mention: Let Me Buy You A Coffee, IADT 

Best Fiction Film: Last Moments, TUD (Technological University Dublin) 

 Documentary Honourable Mentions: Dublin is Kinky, Griffith College and Teanga na hEalaíne, SETU (South East Technological University) 

Best Documentary & Best Overall Film: Reflections on a Foregone Self, IADT 

Animation Honourable Mention: Spoonful of Sugar, TUS Clonmel 

Best Animation: Contented Mediocracies, TUS Clonmel 

 Experimental Honourable Mention: Green Boy, DKIT (Dundalk Institute of Technology) 

Best Experimental: Once Home, TUD (Technological University Dublin) 

Each film captivated audiences and demonstrated the incredible talent and creativity of young filmmakers across the country. Congratulations to all the winners and participants for their outstanding contributions to the world of cinema in Ireland!
