I go and do some macro photography with my nikon D7500 and sigma 105mm F/2.8 to a local estate owned by the national Trust with a big 18th century house built by Charles 2nd for his sister in law whom died before it was completed. But this is not the subject of this video but rather the grounds it sits in .
I wonder around looking for subjects to photograph but found it to be a bit hard going ,for the wind got up and proved to be an issue , but I managed to take a few pictures in the end using my macro lens on video for the first time.
I am really impressed with the quality of the images captured by the Sigma 105mm macro and its ease of use , I found manually focusing to be easier whilst hand held that way I could move my body forwards and backwards until focus was achieved, a simple solution that works well as you will see by the picture of the lichen.
enjoy the video.
