Howdy Folks!!
Something a little different, and if i can find more, I will put it up!
Yes It's Louisville's own JT & the BB's on local TV in 1983! What a blast!
We were pretty nervous to say the least, but not immobile! For one thing I was playing on someone else's drums! Very nice set too! I Can't remember who they belonged to but i remembered i wished i played as well as him!
But, outside of that, you may notice we sorta dressed in "outfits" on that particular broadcast... 'nuff said about that! It was all in good fun and homage to baseball (the pants) and reggae (the shirts)!
It was called Rockin Reggae after all!
We started off with Baby, We've Got A Date (Rock It Baby) written by Bob Marley and the next song was an original...Rockin' Back In The Cradle" written in 1982 (i think).
What i love now is the sort of country flavor to Rock It Baby that i had never heard before. Sweet!
So, hearts on the sleeves, warts and all, here we are...visually! I hope you get a kick out of it.
There will be more with first guitarist John Timmons and third guitarist Donny Pollard.
No, it wasn't like Spinal Tap...no imploding!
